This is an experiment! Enjoy!

The raison d'être behind PlanetShifter.com and eMagazine is to examine our planet’s condition and develop new ideas and processes that will bring a sustainability and environmental justice to everyone.

This brainstorm or visioning exercise would easy to do in a live gathering of the members, but we are living far apart in most cases and need Internet tools to connect and collaborate. So, I challenge members to test their creative and green perspectives. Please review the Creative Cycle diagram at
www.planetshifter.com/node/40
as a general guide to our Community Event Circle process.

How This Works:

One:
I have posted five images from my local Oakland neighborhood, each with a brief description:

http://www.planetshifter.com/node/317

http://www.planetshifter.com/node/318

http://www.planetshifter.com/node/319

http://www.planetshifter.com/node/320

http://www.planetshifter.com/node/321

Two:
Please offer comments on each post, including (but not limited to) the following:

1. What are your first impressions of the image and what questions arise for the group?
2. How do you understand and apply sustainable principles to this scene?
3. How can we do something better?

* Use anything to react with - and advance ideas. Give us URLs, quotes, comments, and files

Three:
I will then synthesize all of your comments from the five posts into here - the main Community Event Circle discussion page so we can have a second round of critique and creativity.
