President Barak Obama has stated: “Today’s, children are left to the streets, seniors are tossed in rest homes and the sons of women are abroad fighting wars that are driven by greed and the egos of men”.
Humanity, today, must reconnect to that higher level of an inner-consciousness , where the hording of wealth (capitalism) should not be the way of life, but rather sharing (socialism) and caring for the disadvantage, the elderly and the young who are too often the recipients of neglect and abandonment.
Caring is a form of Charity that is a way of thinking without the expectation of something in return on a material level. That charity is a moral and social obligation (responsibility) and should be practiced as a way of life in the belief in wanting to share with others as it has been said; “What you want for yourself you should want for your sister’s and brother’s’’

Socialism vs. Capitalism
Our current socioeconomic system is showing proving it's own fallibility before our eyes. While conservative pundits waste their breath demonizing President Obama for being "socialist" instead of admitting their own ideological and moral failures, I do recognize that there are mildly socialist flavors in some of his proposed solutions for our current problems. My question for the doubters is, exactly what's so evil about socialism, anyway? How much worse can it possibly be than a system in which the winners take all and the losers are literally left to die in the streets?
