What authentic tastes like. The PlanetShifter.com Magazine Interview with ASU Sustainability Student and Ford Model Intern Heather Hazzan

Axis:Image:

Sustainability and fashion --- two different worlds with one thing in common: me.

I am interested in seeing what lasts, what endures through time. I am not here for the instant gratification, but for the authentic accomplishments that surface from hard work, dedication, and being true to oneself.

I have found that within both of my two fields of interest, what lasts happens to incorporate the same thing: what is most natural and genuine.

Paying More for Less at Peet's Coffee? Green'em Up Folks!

Last week I was doing my sustainability thing with Louis the Manager at the Peet's on Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame, CA, my home town coffee pipe.

Wondering out loud as to why my small coffee to go costs the same even when I ask for "room for cream" and "no sleeve."

"Hey Luis, I called out, why not give a little savings back to the customer? You can have the cardboard and coffee drip for another sale."

Sustainability vs Profits?

Musician, singer, songwriter, folklorist, labor activist, environmentalist, and peace advocate, Seeger was born in Patterson, New York, son of Charles and Constance Seeger, whose families traced their ancestry back to the Mayflower. Seeger grew up in an unusually politicized environment. His father, Charles, had been a music professor at the University of California at Berkeley, where his pacifism won him so many enemies that he quit teaching in the fall of 1918.

Before The Deluge

Some of them were dreamers
And some of them were fools
Who were making plans and thinking of the future
With the energy of the innocent
They were gathering the tools
They would need to make their journey back to nature
While the sand slipped through the opening
And their hands reached for the golden ring

Top 25 Video Game Heroes of All Time

http://www.gamelemon.com/article_30009.jsp

There are any number of things that make a video game memorable:
excellent gameplay, breathtakingly gorgeous graphics, an engaging story,
unexpected full-frontal male nudity, etc. But one thing that is
guaranteed to make games stick in players' heads like a pickaxe after a
mine explosion are quality characters. A visually distinct hero with a
great personality (and nowadays well-delivered dialogue) can change a
game from just being a fun diversion to something that is an absolute

Take a turn, take a turn
Take our fortune, take our fortune

They called the clip a two-headed cow
Your hate clipped and distant, your luck, pilgrimage
Rest assured this will not last, take a turn for the worst
Your hate clipped and distant, your luck a two-headed cow
The pilgrimage has gained momentum
Take a turn, take a turn
Take our fortune, take our fortune

Speakin' in tongues, it's worth a broken lip

Hey, hey-hey hey
Therell be food on the table tonight
Hey, hey, hey hey
Therell be pay in your pocket tonight

My gut is wrenched out it is crunched up and broken
A life that is led is no more than a token
Wholl strike the flint upon the stone and tell me why
If I yell out at night theres a reply of bruised silence
The screen is no comfort I cant speak my sentence
They blew the lights at heavens gate and I dont know why
