Paying More for Less at Peet's Coffee? Green'em Up Folks!

Last week I was doing my sustainability thing with Louis the Manager at the Peet's on Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame, CA, my home town coffee pipe.

Wondering out loud as to why my small coffee to go costs the same even when I ask for "room for cream" and "no sleeve."

"Hey Luis, I called out, why not give a little savings back to the customer? You can have the cardboard and coffee drip for another sale."

Musician, singer, songwriter, folklorist, labor activist, environmentalist, and peace advocate, Seeger was born in Patterson, New York, son of Charles and Constance Seeger, whose families traced their ancestry back to the Mayflower. Seeger grew up in an unusually politicized environment.
