Chamber of Commerce -
A chamber of commerce is a business network whose goal is to advocate for businesses. Local businesses are members, and they elect a board of directors or executive council to set policy for the chamber. The board or council then hires a President, CEO or Executive Director, plus staffing appropriate to size, to run the organization.
Virtual Community of Practice (VCoP) -
'A Virtual Community of Practice (VCoP) is a group of people who share a craft, vision and/or a profession with the goal of sharing knowledge related to a specific field. VCoP's are not new phenomena: this type of learning has existed for as long as people have been learning and sharing their experiences online through storytelling.'
