"Greetings from Gorgeous Monterey, California!" By William George Paul & willipaul.studio

Big thanks to Barbara Paul and Tom LaFaille of Pebble Beach fior their hospitality as I stop-over in the area for business brainstorming and rest before reving up my new company, Willipaul.studiio, in Seattle later this monrh. Can't wait to hit up my community hero Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters at cocktail hour!

Monterey is a wonderful mix of sustainability in practice, nicely integrated with a deep and fascinating west coast historic record. A hybrid space with a little University Avenue (Palo Alto) with Taos, Santa Cruz and Portland stirred in. The vibe on Alvarado is laid back, and the outdoor beer cache at Fieldwork Brewing Company is cool, indeed.

Can't wait to explore the ocean ecos of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Big Sur. Seems iike I brought the sunny weather from Wellington, to bost! Thanks to Peets, Fidelity Investments and the wondetful spirit at the San Carlos Borromeo Cathedral (see illustration).

Unfortunately the country is at war. Now it's one eye on the Trump bandets and one eye on CNN. Thank God that Monterey is a long way from Charlottesville!
